Policy for Standard Sampling Procedure
Sampling will be performed in accordance to the designated laboratories’ published sampling protocols, manufacturers’ specifications, NIOSH, OSHA, EPA, ASTM or other industry specified method or by research project design.
Sampling protocols will be kept updated and on file for each project and for further reference. All work will be performed under ec2’s quality program that is consistent with ANSI/ASQC E4-1994 Specification and Guidelines for Quality Systems for Environmental Data Collection and Environmental Technology Programs.
ec2 employs only American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), and the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) certified laboratories for our analyses; that is, laboratory analyses are performed in accordance with The Environmental Microbiology Laboratory Accreditation Program (EMLAP), The Environmental Microbiology Proficiency Analytical Testing (EMPAT) Program and The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) quality standards, ISO/IEC 17025 General Requirements for the Competency of Testing and Calibration Laboratories Compliance.
